MINER MILOJE PAVLOVIC LOST HIS LIFE
Bor, February 25, 2007
To great regret of the MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ and as an outcome of the accident that happened on February 19, 2007, the death of our colleague, miner Miloje Pavlovic, was announced by the news media. All warnings by the ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Trade Union that the safety conditions are extremely bad in ‘’RTB’’ Bor, were permanently rejected. The employees themselves pointed out that one had to provide adequate working conditions as urgently as possible, so that they wouldn’t be a game of ‘’life and death’’, but the management and those responsible were silent and no actions were taken. One life is lost forever, and as to the accident itself which was a serious one, it could have been much worse.
