(co-owner of the newspaper ‘’Danas’’) manipulates with people, abuses the office of President of UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ and assumes competences of the UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee, turned out to be true in the ‘’Information on representatives of UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ in three-party bodies’’, which was distributed at the Session of the Leading Committee.

A poll was organized for citizens concerning their knowledge of safety, discrimination and industrial hygiene.

Workers democracy is not anarchy. It is the will of the majority. The headquarters itself is a Workers Organization on the national level and its Leadership is an expression of will of the majority. The relationship of headquarters and its members is a relationship between a section and a whole. Sections must have their own autonomy and conflicts between a ‘’section and a whole’’ are settled by the decision of the majority. Conflicts within the organization are settled within the organization itself. The role of headquarters can only be advisory and it must not be entitled to appointment and suspension. A special attention has to be devoted to Regional Trustee Offices and leadership and headquarters roles.

Young active members spoke about the importance of unionist organizing with the view of protection and improvement of working and living conditions. Press Conference was held in the Municipal Media Center where the Vice-President of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, Negoslav Jovanovic, spoke about the VI Congress of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’.

The Session of the UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee was held in the premises of ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Union, in 4, Nusiceva Street. The reason for holding the Session in Nusiceva Street was B. Canak’s statement that there were no conditions for work of the UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ L.C. Approximately one hundred members of the MWBU L.C. requested to be present at the Session, because the Sessions of the L.C. are open to public. B. Canak stated that there were no adequate conditions for work, so that Metal Workers reacted by expressing their discontent. At Canak’s call, the police arrived which enabled him to pass through furious crowd of people. There was no incident. A part of the UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ L.C. gathered in 4, Nusiceva Street, and others were invited but without members of UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ L.C., of Metal Workers Branch Union. B. Canak was supported by profiteers that came to trade union for drawing profit and becoming rich.

IT ISN’T CLEAR TO A MAJORITY OF MEMBERS OF THE ‘’NEZAVISNOST’’ UNION WHAT HAPPENED THAT THE UBU ‘’NEZAVISNOST’’, WITHOUT ANY REASON, VIOLATING ALL STATUTORY AND PROGRAM REGULATIONS, IS TRYING TO SETTLE ACCOUNTS WITH ONE OF THE MOST NUMEROUS AND BEST ORGANIZED BRANCH UNIONS, THE MWBU ‘’NEZAVISNOST’’ ?! THOSE WHO TAKE PART IN THE CAMPAIGN, DIRECTED TOWARDS METAL WORKERS, FABRICATE THEIR OWN STORIES AND SAY THAT THE PROBLEM IS IN DRAGAN MATIC AND THEN IN THE MWBU LEADERSHIP, MWBU PRESIDENCY, MWBU LEADING COMMITTEE, 30.000 MEMBERS OF THE MWBU.
