The MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee (L.C.) stated that it could not accept the Decision of the UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ L.C. on exclusion of the President of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, D. Matic, from the UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ membership. The Decision was actually groundless according to the Statute and the Rules applicable in UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ and Branch Unions. The MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee demands convening of the UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Presidency and MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Session, as it was decided at the first Extraordinary Session of MWBU L.C. of March 26 2008.

Viewing the web site of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ even in the evening hours, Branislav Canak has increased the number of visits to the site, which will evidently lead to a new record of MWBU site visits. People do not say only by chance: ‘’Every hen protects its chicken.’’

Whenever I encounter the evaluations: ‘’insolent, rude, fascist, lynch’’, I think of the author and the reasons for using such serious judgments and words. I see in front of me an honorable, worried man, responsible, good and humane. I am encouraged by the fact that there are such people ready to oppose those imprudent, insolent and rude people creating an atmosphere of lynch and violence. Then, I read the end part of the text and saw that it was signed by B. Canak, and thought what kind of cynicism and insolence was this. Is it possible that B.C. decided to defend someone, as he always played a role of the judge and gave orders to others to carry out dirty jobs instead of him.

One thing is certain. Mr. Branislav Canak has started writing as he has done never before! Through writing, especially when addressing members of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ L.C., he likes to ’’preach’’ a little and point out in a discrete manner what members of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ L.C. must not do. Members of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ L.C. have just received one such letter and the reason is the invitation to members of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ L.C. to come and take part in the work of MWBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ L.C.

‘’People, what are we going to do now, who is going to carry this out?’’ said one colleague – member of UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee after D. Matic’s leaving the Session of UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ L.C., whom the Leading Committee excluded from the membership. This is the issue about which the representatives of UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee from the MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ organization warned members of the UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee prior to voting on exclusion of Dragan Matic from UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ membership. We would like to remind of a similar situation when Canak, by self-initiative, contrary to the Statute, summoned the Meeting of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee to which no one of members of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee came. When the President of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee, D. Matic convened the Meeting, in line with the Statute and the agreement with the UBU ’Nezavisnost’’ Presidency, almost 100% of members accepted the invitation and came to this Meeting. Instead of learning something, arrogant Canak falls into disgrace and he is going to end his career in the ‘’mud’’.

It is precisely defined in Article 49. of the UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Statute that the UBU Statutory Committee states its opinion only on the basis of requests of trade union bodies or a group of members, and not at the individual request, even if it was submitted by Dragan Milovanovic – Pilac, who requested the investigating of responsibility and exclusion of Dragan Matic. ‘’Testis unus, testis nullus’’ (One witness as no witness at all), the old Latins used to say.
PILAC, AN ‘’ENORMOUS’’ MAN

If by any chance the request for investigating the responsibility for alleged violation of the UBU Statute was filed by a group of members or some trade union body in which Dragan Milovanovic – Pilac was a member or president, the BU Media Presidency, the BU Media L.C., UBU Information Committee, everything would be, in procedural sense, in compliance with statutory regulations. However, the Statutory Committee, by making a decision to consider and discuss an individual request for establishing somebody’s responsibility, violated the Statute, because it made an exception from the statutory rule. Why was this farce made and what was the real motive to exclude D. Matic, president of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, from membership?
