Belgrade, November 10, 2006
The latest news about the death of a worker from the Cement Factory “Holcim”, Paracin, is a continuation of accidents happening all the time. Belgrade, October 18, 2006
The five-year period is behind us, and it is quite sufficient to notice the basic trends in the transition and privatization process in Serbia. This process is judged by many people today, namely, members of political elite, authorities and opposition, independent intellectuals, analysts, citizens, etc. Opinions are divided and range from eulogy to a moderate view that there are certain shifts, but that they are insufficient, and all the way to the other side, on which are those who think that nothing has changed or that the situation is even worse than it was before.
