THERE IS A SOLUTION

An enviable level of communication reached by the representatives of ‘’Nezavisnost” Union of ‘’ATB SEVER’’ and Management of ‘’ATB SEVER’’ resulted in intensive communications and informing, existing for a longer time period. At the meeting with the Director of ‘’ATB SEVER’’, Paul Platzer, the ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Union stated its opinion of the most current subjects associated with employee standard and status. It is important that earnings have been paid out to employees in full amount, and as employees say: “Pays are low at this time, but we get them regularly.” There is an interest of both the Employer and ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Union of ‘’ATB SEVER” that the Job Safety Commission is to be formed soon and that it will operate in compliance with the Law.

The Director Platzer considered the problem of working time re-scheduling and overtime work and it has been planned to find a solution to the problem in a short time. The agreement on the amount of vacation allowance and modality of payment will be reached in due course and this is the precondition for payment of earnings as from January 2008. The ‘’Nezavisnost” Union of ‘’ATB SEVER’’ interceded in favor of employees from Coil Preparation (small motors) Section and those from the Pressing Section and Foundry that they should be covered by the merit system of wages and such account system would be applied as from January 2008.

All of these proposals were presented by ’Nezavisnost” Union of ‘’ATB SEVER’’, supported by arguments, and director Platzer showed full understanding and good will in order that this would be realized. Employees of ‘’ATB SEVER’’ can also expect the publishing of a monthly bulletin or newspapers through which they would be informed regularly, on a monthly basis, of the most important events within the company. The ’Nezavisnost” Union of ‘’ATB SEVER’’ is fully convinced that principled accords obtained from the director Platzer would be realized soon.
