BANKRUPTCY IN SINVOZ
Zrenjanin, November 27 2007
A proposal for instituting bankruptcy proceedings in AD Sinvoz, Zrenjanin was submitted with the Commercial Court of Zrenjanin. The proposal was submitted by TTC Logistic d.o.o. Beograd, whose owner is Nebojsa Ivkovic, who is also a majority owner of AD Sinvoz. What an irony! It was stated in the proposal that the debtor had already been insolvent for a longer time period and that debtor’s account was blocked for 61 days in continuity, so that the account blocking with interruptions lasted 201 days.
On the “frozen” account there were approximately Din. 32 million, while the Commercial Court reached a decision and invited the promoter TTC Logistic d.o.o. Beograd to pay to the Court’s account, within 10-day term, the amount of Din. 1,2 million, as an advance payment of the bankruptcy expenses. In the case of non-fulfillment of this obligation, the proposal will be rejected. A new hearing was scheduled for November 14, 2007, where the reasons for instituting bankruptcy proceedings would be considered. All this was predicted in advance by ‘’Nezavisnost” Union, while all relevant government institutions, in spite of all arguments and warnings, remained silent.
Through various manipulations 470 employees were led to company’s bankruptcy, which for workers were not to blame at all. In case of bankruptcy, one should initiate the issue of criminal liability against Nebojsa Ivkovic, majority proprietor of AD Sinvoz, Zrenjanin, whereby justice would prevail.
