THE MWBU ‘’NEZAVISNOST’’ VISITED TRUSTEE OFFICES OF SUMADIJA REGION
ADVANCEMENT BY SOLVING PROBLEMS

Forming new trustee offices of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ in Sumadija Region requires higher involvement and support to new trade union members, and there is also a need for summarizing the activities carried out by MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ in ‘’Tehnika Tankosic’’ and ‘’TT Industry’’. For those reasons, the President of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, Dragan Matic, Vice-President of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, Mileta Gujanicic, and Regional Trustee of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ for Sumadija-Pomoravlje Region visited trustee offices and company managements with a desire to resolve problems.

These newly formed companies of the former system ‘’Filip Kljajic’’ have been facing problems that arose due to new proprietary relations, meaning a different attitude toward work and property. Talks were conducted with the new owner of ‘’Tehnika Tankosic’’ and it was agreed that the Agreement signed within the Ministry of the Economy and Regional Development should be fully observed. Visions and statements of the new owner, Stanimir Prelic, are encouraging, and the investment in the equipment and current capacities indicate new owner’s desire to do business successfully and fulfill all the obligations toward employees in compliance with the law.

‘’TT Industry’’ is a company employing 110 workers of which 66 are members of the MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’. The co-owner of ‘’TT Industry’’, Thomas Mill, with whom the Leadership of our trade union conducted talks, stressed the advancement in overall operations, considerable increase of the scope of work and that most of the products were exported to Austria.

A good will was expressed that one should find the best possible solutions for all diversities of Trade Union’s and ‘’TT Industry’’ Management’s positions.
