The unionists of Belgrade Region of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ attended the ABC Seminar and scored good results in the exercises and tests. A new knowledge for new achievements.
TRADE UNION AS AN INSPIRATION

Belgrade June 23 2008.
The MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ organized a Seminar on Rajac for 26 attendees on June 12 and 13. This was, in fact, the ABC unionist Seminar. The instructors of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ from Belgrade transferred knowledge and skills in the area of Collective Agreements and collective bargaining strategy. The instructor was Negoslav Jovanovic, Vice-President of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, and Nebojsa Savic, Vice-President of UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, gave a lecture on the organization of Trustee Office operation and the role of a trade union trustee.

Aleksandar Todic, Secretary of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, presented the strategy of collective bargaining and strike study in U. S. Steel Serbia, d.o.o.

Dragan Matic, President of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, gave a speech on the phenomenon of leadership and management to attendees of the Seminar. Also, the theme titled ‘’Conducting a campaign for attracting new members’’ was discussed.

Many exercises and tasks contributed to dynamics and teamwork, and women and men colleagues took part in the Seminar with much enthusiasm.

New knowledge and skills shall be used by the Seminar attendees and shall be applied in the companies in which they work, according to needs.

Organizing Specialized Seminars in the area of Job Safety and Industrial Hygiene, Strike, Communication and Appearance in the Media are planned too.
