THE REPRESENTATIVES OF MWBU ‘’NEZAVISNOST’’ SINVOZ AD ZRENJANIN AND ASSOCIATION OF SMALL SHAREHOLDERS HELD MEETINGS WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE, MINISTRY OF THE ECONOMY AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AS WELL AS WITH SPECIAL PROSECUTOR FOR ORGANIZED CRIME.

RESPONSIBLE POLITICIAN IN THE PROTECTION OF EMPLOYEE RIGHTS

The representatives of the Regional Trustee Office of MWBU ‘’NEZAVISNOST’’, Trustee Committee of SINVOZ ‘’NEZAVISNOST’’ and the Association of Small Shareholders, with significant support of the President of AP Vojvodina Assembly, Mr. Bojan Kostres, succeeded in scheduling and holding meetings in the Ministry of Justice with the Minister Dusan Petrovic, in the Ministry of the Economy and Regional Development with Ivica Kojic, Minister’s Secretary, and Chief of the Cabinet, Mrs. Misela Nikolic. The Ministers and members of the Cabinet were informed about the situation in ‘’SINVOZ’’ that after termination of the Sales Contract with Nebojsa Ivkovic, through bankruptcy proceedings and support of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ and Small Shareholders Association, to resolve the problems in ‘’SINVOZ’’ in the best possible way.

It was requested from Ministers, in conformity with Serbian Law and their competences, to re-examine the subscription of 25% of the capital, owned by Nebojsa Ivkovic, in the Main Register of Securities. A meeting was held, to this end, in the Republic Prosecutor’s Office, namely, in the office of special prosecutor for organized crime, Mr. Slobodan Radovanovic, on which occasion charges were brought against persons suspected of abuse of office by contracting illegal transactions and acquiring profit for themselves and other privileged individuals to the detriment of ‘’SINVOZ’’, ‘’ZELVOZ’’, ‘’JP Zeleznice’’ and budget of the Republic of Serbia, and thereby caused damage amounting to approximately 20 million Euro.
