MINIMUM PAY – BASE FOR NEGOTIATIONS CONCERNING LABOR COST IN ATB ‘’SEVER’’ SUBOTICA
A NEW LABOR COST HAS BEEN AGREED FOR THE FIRST HALF OF 2008

Subotica, February 13 2008
The employer and trade unions in ATB ‘’SEVER’’ A.D. Subotica agreed on and signed the Annex to the Collective Agreement on new labor cost for the period: January 1 2008 – June 30 2008. The basic net labor cost is now Din. 71,17. An increase of hourly wage has been stipulated for eight groups, and it ranged from 10% in group ‘’A’’ to 5,5% in group ‘’H’’, where the net amount is Din. 168,65.

It is praiseworthy that trade unions of ATB ‘’SEVER’’ entered the negotiations this time with a joint platform and we in ‘’Nezavisnost’’ – ATB ‘’SEVER’’ think that we can achieve our members’ objectives faster and better only through joint acting.

The base for the negotiations on new labor cost for the period January 1 – June 30 2008 is the increase of minimum labor cost, adopted at the Session of the Socio-Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia.
