AGREEMENT ON SOCIO-ECONOMIC COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF BELGRADE HAS BEEN SIGNED
BEGINNING OF SOCIAL DIALOGUE THROUGH INSTITUTIONS

After today’s signing of the Agreement on socio-economic council of the city of Belgrade, the coordinator of “Nezavisnost” Union, Azir Hadzifeizovic, said in his statement for the press: “We from “Nezavisnost” Union want to believe that today’s event is very important for the workers from Belgrade and throughout Serbia.
The Agreement on socio-economic council for the city of Belgrade was signed by: Nenad Bogdanovic, mayor of the city of Belgrade, Rato Ninkovic, President of Serbian Employers’ Union and Belgrade’s Employers, Vlada Andric, President of the Association of Autonomous Unions of Belgrade and Azir Hadzifeizovic, Coordinator of the commissary’s office for the city of Belgrade, UBU “Nezavisnost”.
According to the words of Azir Hadzifeizovic, the Agreement on socio-economic council for the city of Beldrade signifies:
-Commencement of establishing social dialogue, through institutions, which has no alternative;
-Commencement of establishing social justice and social equality;
-Commencement of establishing social stability, which means social dialogue;
-Beginning and the end of extreme development of local political self-government and establishing the balance between political self-government and workers’ self-management, because we are convinced that this balance would bring a more just, stable and better society, which is our primary target.
