GENERAL COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT AS A GREAT FRAUD

The MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ sent a letter, at the beginning of July, to Serbian Employers Union requesting it to forward a list of members of Serbian Employers Union being Employers in the Metal Industry, so that we know to whom we should apply the provisions of the signed G.C.A. At this time, the G.C.A. is neither observed nor applied by anyone and there is a threat that employees, according to their information on members of Serbian Employers Union, institute legal proceedings especially in the section relating to payment of vacation allowances and hot meals. In this way, the Union mocks social partners and the President of Serbia who was present during signing of the G.C.A. and was also a guarantor in a certain way that the G.C.A. would have an extended effect.

The president of Serbian Employers Union, Mr. Stevan Avramovic, gave an ‘’eulogy’’ to the G.C.A. subject matter at signing in the presence of the public, promises made were forgotten and Serbian employees deceived.

The MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ will send a protest note to the President of Serbia and warn him to take care with whom he appears in public and to whom he gives support.
