Leskovac, July 8 2008
The charges brought with the Police Department in Leskovac by the president of trade union ‘’Nezavisnost Leteks’’ Leskovac resulted in an inquiry and instituting the proceedings, namely, criminal charges were brought against Stanimir Petrovic, director of ‘’Leteks Leskovac d.o.o.’’, because he was suspected of having committed two criminal offenses: abuse of office of Article 359, paragraph 4., with reference to paragraph 1. of the Criminal Law and abuse of office of Art. 359, para.4.,with reference to paragraph 3.of the Criminal Law. The crime division inspectors of the Police Department of Leskovac arrested Zorica Gajic, president of the Assembly and owner of 100% capital of ‘’Leteks Leskovac d.o.o.’’ on June 30 2008 and brought her before the investigating judge of the Municipal Court of Leskovac, due to suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of abuse of office together with Stanimir Petrovic, caused damage to creditors, as well as the indictable offense referring to registration of business entities.
The information on the efficiency of the Police from Leskovac encouraged all workers in Serbia, which had ‘’masters’’ in the privatization process similar to Zorica Gajic, which ruined many companies and deprived employees of their rights.
The MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ will continue to bring charges against owners and directors of companies, which for we think that there are legal grounds for their criminal liability and pursuit by the police.
