MWBU ’’NEZAVISNOST’’ REQUESTED IN 2004 THAT THE APPOINTMENT OF UBU ’’NEZAVISNOST’’ REPRESENTATIVES IN TWO-PARTY AND THREE-PARTY BODIES HAD TO BE REVIEWED

Although he claims to be an ’’expert’’ in and ’’interpreter’’ of the UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Statute, B.C. (co-owner of the newspaper ’’Danas’’) is certainly not an expert and interpreter. It is interesting that he is often ’’senile’’ just when a statutory provision clearly indicates that certain B.C.’s decision or act is contrary to the Statute and principles applicable in the UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’.

A good example of this ’’senility’’ was shown at the Session of the UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Presidency when a question was posed by the President of the ’’Nezavisnost’’ Branch Union of Educators, Tomislav Zivanovic: ’’What happened with the position in the Republic Managing Board of Health Insurance Company, which was assigned to the ’’Nezavisnost’’ Branch Union of Educators, on which position Zdravko Kovac was until now. ’’ The answer was that Slavko Vlaisavljevic was assigned this position in the Managing Board, who has discharged the duty of President of the ’’Nezavisnost’’ BU PUT and of the President of ’’Nezavisnost’’ Provincial Committee of Vojvodina. In the UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Statute, i.e. in Article 39. it stands: ’The L.C. appoints the UBU representatives in two-party and three-party bodies on the national level.’’

The agenda of the Leading Committee Session and of the UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Presidency Session didn’t contain the item ’’Appointing the UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ representatives in Managing Boards and Auditing Committees of three-party bodies on the Republic level.’’ The information is that B.C. appointed, by self-initiative, an ’’enormous man’’, D. M. Pilac, in the Managing Board of the PDI Fund without the L.C.’s Decision , and the Leading Committee is ’’a supreme body of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ between the two Congresses’’, as it stands in Art. 39. of the UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Statute.

We expect an information soon on the appointment of B.C.'s favorite in the Managing Board of the Solidarity Fund instead of Dragan Matic.

History teaches us that there are examples of appointing even worse than those such as B.C. In ancient Rome, the aged, crazy and recalcitrant dictator Caligula proclaimed his horse Incitatus a consul.
