FZV ‘’ZELVOZ’’

The Meeting of FZV ‘’Zelvoz’’ was held in the Cultural Centre of Smederevo on April 21 2008, as one of the last phases in the privatization process of one of the largest Serbian companies for railway vehicle overhauls.

The Meeting was attended by more than 1.300 stockholders (employees, former employees and retired persons, as well as majority stockholders of Rumanian Consortium SC Remar SA / SC Grampet SA). Among other decisions, the following decisions were also reached: Decision on alteration of the company’s legal form, Decision on closed-type emission of shares and Decision on appointment of the Managing Board members.

At this Meeting, the new majority owner guaranteed he would observe all the agreements in connection with securing jobs and pays. The ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Trade Union, together with other two trade unions - signatories of the Social Program, plans, immediately after the first Session of the newly appointed Managing Board, to enter the negotiations concerning the dynamics of payment of employee wages (at this time, full earnings for January have not been paid out yet) and then enter other negotiations as well, that will secure the application of the Collective Agreement, Labor Law and other legal enactments.
