HYPOCRITICAL CALLING OF UBU ‘’NEZAVISNOST’’ LEADERS TO SOLIDARITY IS NOT DEFENDED BY PERSONAL EXAMPLE BUT OTHERS ARE CONSIDERED RESPONSIBLE

SOLIDARITY – TRADE UNION’S BASE AND POWER

Solidarity : In the essence of solidarity there is a concept meaning that something should be shared with others on volunteer basis. Many civilizations, religions and organizations highly evaluate solidarity and trade unions consider solidarity as a priority in respect of their endeavors and principles.

For this reason, trade union members pay membership dues according to their earnings, and in UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ the dues are 1% of one’s earnings.

Some trade union members are elected in 3-party bodies on national level. Those representatives are elected by the Leading Committee of UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ and they take part in the work of those bodies, representing the interests of UBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’.

The MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ prescribed, by the Decision of the L.C., that members of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, being in the Board of Trustees and Auditing Committees of 3-party bodies, should pay in 30% of the obtained funds through participation in the work of those Committees, to the account of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, which has been done.
