CANAK LEFT THE SESSION OF UBU ’’NEZAVISNOST’’ LEADING COMMITTEE. CURSING AND INSULTING AND HOLDING BARROOM SESSIONS OF THE LEADING COMMITTEE – A NEW WAY OF COMMUNICATION IN UBU ’’NEZAVISNOST’’

It’s not news any longer that Branislav Canak leaves the sessions of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ bodies. Firstly, he used to leave sessions of the Presidency, and now he is doing this at the sessions of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee. As soon as he gets a little angry, he stands up and goes toward the door. At this time, as Canak says: ’’I am looking for a job and I have no obligations toward you any more’’. The UBU L.C. commenced with a discussion about the ’’Resolutions’’ of MWBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee and a request that the same should be put in the agenda of UBU Leading Committee, since the request for holding a Session of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Presidency by the MWBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee has not been complied with. What was the request of the MWBU ?

The MWBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Leading Committee demands that the Presidency considers the following issues:

1.It is necessary to re-examine the behavior of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ President, Branislav Canak, which assumes a form of insult and disdain of members of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Presidency.
2.The procedure of elections of the Provincial bodies of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ for Vojvodina has to be re-initiated.
3.One should perform and provide the analysis of payment of unionist membership dues as from the UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Congress until today. We wish to mention that such a Report was not submitted for almost a year and a half and, in the meantime, one should have applied the item of the Statute, based on which we increased membership dues by more than 40%.
4.The names and surnames of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ representatives, as well as the amount of their earnings as members of the Managing Boards, Coordinating and Auditing Committees, and should be forwarded to the Presidency and the Leading Committee together with the decisions of the L.C. : when and according to which procedure those representatives were appointed in Managing Boards and Auditing Committees.
5.One has to enable the Auditing Committee to inspect employees pays on the level of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ and notify the Presidency and UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ L.C. about this.
6.It is necessary that the President, Vice-Presidents and Secretary of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ submit their reports by sphere of activity, namely, departments, according to which they were elected at the UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Congress. This especially pertains to non-existence of the Report of activities and performance results of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ President, Branislav Canak.

The Leading Committee accepted this request with a majority of votes, as well as the request of Aleksandar Titovic that the L.C. should reach a decision concerning May 1 and its celebration. The UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Work Report for 2007 was adopted with certain comments and suggestions, as well as the Report of the Statutory Committee which in its opinion of the Provincial Committee Session states:

-’’That the procedure of election of the Provincial bodies should not be excessively emhasized, so that we would not be in a situation of non-observance of current Statutory provisions. In our opinion, the UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ L.C. would have to make a Decision by which it would secure provisional legitimacy and legality of the Provincial bodies, but it should make the amendments to articles of the UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Statute in the shortest possible term through which it would regulate the integral issue associated with the organization and competence of the PC of APV and thereby constituting the election of bodies. After adopted amendments to UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Statute it is necessary to set the term for enforcing newly adopted provisions of UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ Statute.

Who understands, he really understands, and one went further, so a debate began on the first resolution of the MWBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ L.C. The debate lasted 3-4 hours but with no result. They even mentioned ’’enemies’’, ’’troublemakers’’, ’’protectors’’, ’’founders’’ and those who are not, ’’solidarity’’, ’’unity’’, ’’treason’’ ....

We have received information about things of which some members of the L.C. had no idea. Canak could not make a proposal of resolution on that issue, therefore, the president of MWBU ’’Nezavisnost’’, D. Matic proposed a resolution to the Leading Committee:

-’’It cannot be tolerated that the communication in UBU ’’Nezavisnost’’ goes on through swearing and insulting, regardless of one’s office.’’ Prior to voting, Canak said he could not accept this, because it might happen that he would curse someone another time, naturally, when there was a justified reason for this. While the L.C. was preparing for voting, Canak packed his things and went toward the door, stopped at a call of some colleagues and invited members of the L.C., which came out for ’’Nezavisnost’’, to go to a nearby restaurant, where ’’work’’ was continued.

WE WILL BE INFORMED ABOUT THE RESOLUTIONS OF SUCH "CAFE LEADING COMMITTEE" BY A WAITER WHEN THE MEETING ENDS.
