A PROTOCOL BETWEEN ‘’NEZAVISNOST’’ UNION OF RTB, RBM AND TIR, AS WELL AS ACTING DIRECTOR OF RTB BOR HAS BEEN SIGNED IN THE MINISTRY OF THE ECONOMY AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT. ALSO, THIS PROTOCOL HAS BEEN SIGNED BY THE MINISTER M. DINKIC

NEW BENEFITS FOR WORKERS OF RTB BOR

Thanks to full understanding of the Ministry of the Economy and Regional Development and minister M. Dinkic, employees of RTB Bor will get a compensation, namely, each employee with steady employment, of which there are 4691 in RTB Bor, which will be taken over by the first-ranked bidder at the tender. The amount of compensation will depend on the length of service in the entity to be privatized and it has been anticipated that it should amount to 200 Euro per year of service. Minister Dinkic will submit this proposal at the Session of Serbian Government which has been scheduled for March 15 2008, and payment of compensation will be possible by the end of April 2008.

Employees will be entitled to this benefit only in the case of successful termination of the financial transaction to be completed soon.

Ministry of the Economy and Regional Development and minister Dinkic promised employees that they would give support to RTB Bor Group with the view of payment of unpaid wages, allowances and other receipts, which also means payment of outstanding contributions for social insurance. Such Protocol was signed by representatives of ‘’Nezavisnost’’ Union of RBM, TIR, RBB and M. C., acting director of RTB Bor, and on behalf of the Republic of Serbia the Protocol was signed by minister Dinkic.
