ON THE WAY OF RECOVERY

The concern of the Railroad Car Factory’s workers, from Kraljevo, about the company’s future, is lessening, and the main reason is that machine shops are full of workers who have a lot of work to do, payment of earnings on a regular basis and obligations fulfilled to a considerable extent by ‘’Azov-Intex”. This is a predominant opinion stated to the President of MWBU “Nezavisnost”, Dragan Matic, who visited the RCFK and talked to Mr. Fvjakislav Ferdjuk and the leadership of “Nezavisnost” Union of RCFK.


- “RCFK was beyond serious economic flows for almost 15 years, and as such, it lost market positions and partners. The RCFK can expect full employment in the near future and it will sell its products in the EU market. This 2007 is a year of consolidation of the production and business status of the RCFK, and we expect that we shall have regular operations and will make a profit in 2008. The existence of trade union in the RCFK is desirable, and “Nezavisnost” Union and other trade unions will be treated the same way. Presently, the salaries are not financed from operation receipts, but subsidized by ‘’Azov-Intex”. There are certain problems concerning payment of outstanding earnings, but they will be solved soon and obligations discharged. It is difficult to provide the means of production and funds for payment of outstanding debts and earnings, but all of these problems will be resolved in the near future. New equipment and advanced technologies can be expected soon, which will conduce to product competitiveness of the RCFK. The employee structure at this time does not suit the work requirements, therefore, a certain number of workers has been trained for the jobs that the RCFK will need in the future”, said Fvjakislav Ferdjuk in his speech.

All of these activities are encouraging and they characterize the seriousness of “Azov-Intex” Company. The President of MWBU “Nezavisnost”, Dragan Matic, suggested that one should conduct a poll for employees of the RCFK, with the view of determining the level of corporate culture and communication in the RCFK. The problem concerning non-payment of membership dues to “Nezavisnost” Union by the RCFK will be resolved by an agreement between the RCFK and the MWBU “Nezavisnost”. The visit contributed to a considerable extent to better informing about the work and activities of MWBU “Nezavisnost”, as well as getting comprehensive information of the present and future of the Railroad Car Factory Kraljevo.
