THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE RAILWAY VEHICLE FACTORY ’’GOSA’’ VISITED ’’ZOS’’ TRNAVA IN SLOVAKIA

THE RAPPROCHEMENT OF TWO BIG SYSTEMS

Belgrade, April 4, 2007
The representatives of ’’Nezavisnost’’ T.U. of the RVF ’’GOSA’’ had the opportunity, within the agreed program of visit to ’’ZOS’’ Trnava, to be informed about the company organization system, visit the production plants and meet with colleagues of the T.U. operating in ’’ZOS’’. ’’ZOS’’ Trnava privatized the RVF ’’GOSA’’ at the beginning of 2007, so that this visit has a symbolic nature of rapprochement of two big industrial systems from Slovakia and Serbia, regarding that they had been founded in approximately the same year, ’’ZOS’’ in 1924, and ’’GOSA’’ in 1923.

An excellent work organization and a high level of industrial discipline is noticeable in the company itself, but in the Railway Vehicle Factory it is possible to perform many more complex jobs than it can be done in ’’ZOS’’ Trnava. The representatives of ’’Nezavisnost’’ T.U. were received by the T.U. President, Rudolf Brezovski, as well as the proprietor of ’’ZOS’’ Trnava, Vladimir Porom. Colleague Brezovski explained the trade union’s activities and operations, as well as some specific sections of Slovakian labor legislation and sections of the Collective Agreement within the Company.

An encouraging information is that the investments in the Railway Vehicle Factory are estimated to €1.3 million by the end of 2007. This significant investment tells about the customer’s seriousness, and the money shall be used for starting the production lines, expanding the capacities, overall streamlining, which should, as an ultimate result, lead to an increased employment of our workers and new employments too. It has been agreed to continue cooperation and contacts, because both the ’’RVF’’ and ’’ZOS’’ are a part of a joint family.
