The Town Assembly of Novi Sad was the host of International Trade Union representatives, guests of the VI Congress of the MWBU
NOVI SAD – A GOOD HOST


Novi Sad, September 20 2008
Visiting the Town Assembly of Novi Sad, which was the host of high unionist officials, by representatives of European and International Metal Workers Federation and representatives of 20 European National Trade Unions, the activities relating to the VI Congress of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ in Novi Sad commenced. The gathered representatives of international workforce, 32 representatives, were welcomed by Mirko Narancic, member of the Municipal Administration responsible for economic issues, wishing them all the best and expressing his content, because Novi Sad was selected to be the host of the VI Congress of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’.

The representatives of international workforce were informed about the history of Vojvodina and Novi Sad, economic and political potentials that Novi Sad had.

Novi Sad and the Municipal Assembly of Novi Sad proved to be a good host, respecting social partners and desiring, through dialogue and mutual respect, that all current and potential problems should be solved.
